Summer

Since I quickly rescheduled many things that were happening this summer when I got into my current class I wasn't quite sure where everything ended up. I haven't had a chance to look past the next day in a couple of weeks so I just sat down to take a look and try to squeeze in a few field trips. I love our summer field trips. I love takings the girls to the zoo in Seattle, the Science Center, Chuck E. Cheese, the waterfront, Pike Place Market, etc. I'm hoping to squeeze in a trip or two to Canada as well now that we have our Nexus passes. But...I just looked at our summer and it's SO busy. We've got a ton of fun stuff planned with a few camping trips, a VBS for Madison, a trip to Oregon, playdates, gardening classes, a few theatre productions, park concerts, free movies at the mall, and a possible trip to Yakima. Hopefully we'll have enough downtime in between stuff and will skip a few things if we don't but it looks like I'll have to put our field trip plans on hold until August when things slow down just a bit. I can't wait to spend the summer with my kiddos when I am done with this class. I intend to soak up July and August with my girls and have as much fun as we can before school starts again.
