The weather today was amazing. I have such guilt that I didn't get out and enjoy it more. I fumbled this morning and took Madison and I to our gardening class forgetting that today was the Highland Games and class was cancelled. Since we didn't get to do the scarecrow we had been looking forward to I took her for hot cocoa and hit a few yard sales where she found a few treasures.
When we came home we did some outside play and I spent a good chunk of time plugging in all the summer activities into my calendar from the Entertainment News NW. There are so many fun things going on in the summer and SO many of them are free. We are looking forward to park concerts and local children's theatre.
I also saw that there is a production of Annie happening tonight in Mt. Vernon so I quickly ordered some tickets. We will leave soon and I think she is going to love it. She loves the movie and she LOVES going to theatre productions so (hopefully) I can't miss on this one. As Madison gets older it is so much fun to do some of these "big kid" things with her. I have a lot of guilt about not doing nearly as much with Kennedy though. She is still too young to take to anything like this. I am going to take her for cocoa and to the park tomorrow to get some Kennedy time in before school starts next week.
I will post some pictures of our theatre night late tonight or tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow.......
