Our three weeks of driving to Fairhaven every morning have come to an end. Kennedy has taken 3 solid weeks of swimming lessons and Madison has taken one week. Today was our last day and it's incredible to see how far they have come. Kennedy is a crazy fish bobbing her head under the water all the time. The past couple of days that is all she has done. She bobs her head under water while she is waiting to have her turn and she does it while she is having her turn even though they are doing something else. You really can't keep this fish above water!
Today they went off the diving board. When I saw them get out of the water and walking over to the diving board I had a bit of a panic attack. I needn't have worried because they had no problem whatsoever!
They didn't really give Kennedy a chance to jump off and they handed her down instead. I know she would have leaped off but maybe that is what they were afraid of.
Friday Fun Day! Slide time.
Whee! We can't wait until next summer for more of these wonderful swimming lessons at Bayside. I have enjoyed watching them while sitting poolside in the amazing weather we have been having. They have enjoyed being in the pool and having FUN!
