Thanksgiving in Wenatchee

We went to Wenatchee for Thanksgiving. We woke up to snow on Thanksgiving morning but set out to head over the pass reluctantly. In hindsight the weather was probably bad enough to call it quits but the girls were looking forward to it and we thought the roads might clear up some. They didn't but we made it over safe and sound. The top of the pass had some amazing scenery.

There were icicles everywhere on Stevens Pass.

We arrived in Wenatchee around 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful feast and enjoyed visiting with family. Later that afternoon the girls wanted to head outside and rushed out before gearing up. They were cold and didn't last too long but here they are standing in my dad's backyard. They have a beautiful view from their house.

On our way over the pass we saw a couple of deer and Eric and Madison saw a lynx. It was really huge according to Eric. I wished I had seen it. There were deer tracks in the snow all over at my dad's all weekend.

These are Kennedy tracks.

Oh, there she is.

Brrr! No snow pants or hat. I'm ready to go inside!
