Oh Snap, It's Cold!

We had another snow day today but it was SO cold there was no playing outside. When we took the dog out for a potty break this morning she started limping around and trying to lick her paws warm, it was even too cold for her.
We did make it out of the house to go to Fred Meyer though (and the bank and pharmacy drive-thru). It was nice to get out and Fred Meyer was the emptiest I have seen it in a long time, it was great! We picked up our Valentine's Day cards to start working on them for something to do.
I bought lots of groceries, It's amazing how much you run out of when you are stuck home for a few days. I spent the afternoon making my favorite salad and washing all my produce. I'm on a cooking kick now that I actually have some time to do it. I have a Chicken and Dumpling crock-pot recipe to make tomorrow although there are so many steps it kind of takes the ease out of a crock-pot meal. It's supposed to be a good one though so I'm looking forward to it.
The girls finally got their new CD player delivered today. We returned one of their Christmas presents and ordered a new CD player instead. It's really light weight but it sounds good. They had a lot of fun listening to Madison's iPod on it this afternoon and an Adele CD. Just when I got started on dinner and put my Amos Lee CD in they hauled their CD player out wanting to listen to it in the living room.
Tomorrow will be another snow day. We may end up making a trip to town to take Kennedy to the doctor. Not only has her tummy aches not gone away she now has some sort of rashy bumps all over her tummy. We haven't given her any milk but she has had dairy. I just don't know what is going on with her but want to start some allergy testing just to rule some things out if nothing else. She is fine most of the day but they come and go and really hurt her when they come on. It's starting to really become frustrating.
That's about all I have for today, it was uneventful other than the super cold weather and wind.
