Since starting preschool we have been going through some things at home. Madison has been EXTREMELY moody and it's definitely associated with preschool as it's been a drastic change that started at exactly the same time as preschool. She comes home in a pretty sour mood, we have been experiencing tantrums which we haven't dealt with for a very long time and she is wanting everything done for her (needs help using the bathroom, getting her socks on, you-name-it). She is talking back and just hasn't been herself at all. I know she is enjoying preschool and has fun there because she tells me and her teachers tell me she is doing great but things at home are very unpleasant.
I think she has probably been having some social anxiety at school. She probably spends a great deal of effort at school trying to do what she is "supposed" to do and lets loose when she gets home. It's been pretty difficult around here but I'm hoping this is normal. If you have any experience with this or any advice I would love to hear it. I'm hoping this will adjust itself after she gets settled into preschool and feels more comfortable there.
