Strawberry Festival 2010

We made it to the strawberry festival today. It wasn't quite as warm and sunny as it was yesterday but it was perfect for us. The girls weren't cold and the crowds were smaller than yesterday which was great. We love going to Boxx Berry Farms every year for this festival. Madison enjoyed taste testing a few berries.
Miss Kennedy had a great time. She was walking all through the strawberries (literally) and helping to pick as well. She saw the tractor stop and ask if anyone wanted to hop on and she couldn't wait to get on it.
Today also happened to be Father's Day. Here is Eric picking some strawberries. It's hard to see his hat but Madison and Kennedy picked out a matching hat and t-shirt for him that said "#1 Dad". He wore it proudly.
Venturing off on her own in pursuit of the perfect strawberry.
Ah, there it is!
Madison discovered a loose tooth today. She is so proud of it and has asked a lot of questions about the tooth fairy. I can barely wiggle it so it will be a while but this is her first one. Tomorrow happens to be their dentist appointment so we'll see what the dentist thinks. Soon she will lose it and there will be one more milestone that has come and gone.
We ran into a few people we knew there. Here is Kennedy taking Jake somewhere, thankfully he was more than willing to go along with her.
I love this picture of Kennedy. It was taken on the tractor ride around the farm.
Waiting in line for their balloons. Madison requested a blue and green butterfly and Kennedy picked a blue wiener dog.
Still waiting....

Waiting some more...

Yeah! But...it came undone. Mom came to the rescue and fixed it.

Kennedy and her friend Sarah.
And a trip to Boxx Berry Farm would never be complete without a ride on the train.
And another ride on the train.
Beep! Beep!
We'll see you next year!
