Last weekend we went to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. This is something we look forward to every year. We went to Tulip Town this year and the above picture is taken in one of their gardens.
Tulip Town!
Madison
Here is a picture of the field of tulips at Tulip Town, it was an amazingly sunny and beautiful day.
A few varieties hadn't fully bloomed yet.
We went on the tractor ride. The girls posing on the tractor in front of a pink tulip field.
Gorgeous!
The girls were partial to the pink ones.
The family!
More tulips.
After the tulips we headed to La Conner, one of my favorite little towns. This is a little garden next to a shop in town.
We walked down to the water. Just minutes before the plane in the background came in and landed in the water.
La Conner's Rainbow bridge connects La Conner to Fidalgo Island which includes, the gated Shelter Bay Community, the Swinomish reservation, and the city of Anacortes.
It was a long day and the girls were tired. They love sharing a bed and I love peeking in on them at night and finding these kinds of images.
Wonderful day in the Pacific Northwest!
