I finally got caught up on my blog. But...I don't want to go back and read my postings because I'll be embarrassed. I have been doing these late at night on very little sleep and I'm afraid they probably don't make a lot of sense and have a lot of grammatical and spelling errors. Thankfully I don't have a lot of readers : )
It's been a long week and it's only Wednesday. I'm finally starting to feel like a stay at home mom again. Fun activities, errands, drop offs and pick ups, afternoons of fighting and exhaustion. I don't think I have fully recovered from our trip yet and could use some decent sleep. I could really use a weekend, or even a night away all by myself but that will have to wait. With all of that being said I really am loving my time at home. Eric is out of town so he isn't coming home to help in the evenings but my days are feeling normal and comfortable. It's temporary and Eric will be back home next week but I'm so glad I took the summer off from school to be home with the girls.
Eric's unemployment ran out and we had an extremely scary few weeks waiting to see if his extension went through. It did and I am breathing a sigh of relief. He is still working hard at finding something and still thinks he has a temporary job with a company out of Marysville but the job hasn't started. We'll have to see if that pans out but, for now, we're still getting by and thankful, thankful, thankful for unemployment insurance.
That about does it for tonight. It's about a quarter til midnight and I have started watching Nip/Tuck from the beginning. I used to watch it a bit but am starting from scratch. It's a great show.
