Madison is attending Vacation Bible School this week at a local church. She is learning some great things, making some great crafts and having fun.
The theme of the VBS centers around the Baobab Tree found in Africa which provides shelter, food and water for animals and people. Eric volunteered the day before VBS started and he helped make the Baobab Tree pictures above.
We weren't sure if Madison would know anyone but she found a good friend there and some other kids she knew from preschool.
She's in the Monkey class. She's getting to do so many things I never got to do as a kid. The past few days were a little hard for her at times and I worry what fall will bring when she starts kindergarten. This is all new for her and it's difficult for her to process it all. I'm so proud of her for doing it despite how difficult it is for her. I'm so proud of this girl.
