No More Training Wheels

Madison is officially without training wheels. She wore her other training wheels so we bought some new ones. Eric was opening them and she said, "I don't think I need them anymore" and hopped on and took off. After about an hour she was riding circles all over the garage. To me, it seems harder to ride in circles instead of straight so I was incredibly impressed when he called me to tell me the news.

We have practiced very briefly with her without training wheels but she was timid and didn't seem ready to take the plunge so we were all surprised by her accomplishment and SO proud.

She was incredibly proud of herself too and we are anxious to take her somewhere with more room. This afternoon Eric is going to take her to the school to do some serious riding on the basketball court.

What a big girl doing such big girl things.

Madison, I am continually amazed and proud at your accomplishments and milestones. I can't believe I have been experiencing them for six years. I look forward to decades more of watching you grow and accomplish whatever you set your mind to. You are amazing and special and the world is at your fingertips. Congratulations!
