Ticket for One Please

I just couldn't wait any longer to see Eclipse and snuck out this afternoon when Eric got home to go and see it. It was a hot day and a couple of hours in some air conditioning while watching my Edward sounded like a little piece of heaven. I wasn't disappointed. I loved the movie as I knew I would and am still feeling like a 15 year old. There is something about that series that brings you back to your teens and sucks you right back into that feeling of young love. I know people criticize those books and even if they like them they feel the need to make the statement that they know they "aren't written well", etc. but if you like it you like it. I don't think there is a need to over analyze something like that or defend something you like.
I went to the movie alone. That sentence might be enough to make some people cringe. I wouldn't have been caught dead going to a movie by myself in high school but I actually really like going alone. In college I started going to the movie theatre alone. I had classes in the morning and came home to an incredibly hot apartment. There was a movie theatre just down the street from our first apartment in Bellingham and I often went to a matinee alone. Of course the matinee prices were much cheaper then. There isn't anything social about seeing a movie so what is the point of going with people? Either way is fine but you are just sitting there not talking to the other person anyway. Of course it is nice to discuss it afterwards but other than that I am happy flying solo at the cinema. If you have never done it you should try it. It's quite liberating to say, "ticket for one please".
