Kennedy started her first swimming class last week. She was so excited. She's had 5 days of it so far and can't wait to go back tomorrow. She will have one more week of this session and then I have signed her and Madison, both, up for the one week session that follows. So, Kennedy will have three full weeks of swimming. She couldn't be happier. That kid is half fish I think.
These pictures were all from her first day. They have done so many other great things and even went off the diving boards on Friday into the instructors arms. She's fearless and doing so wonderfully.
Look at me, Mom! This is what I hear about a dozen times during each swimming class. She is so proud of herself!
The level she is doing is for 3-5 year olds so I wasn't sure if she was ready for it since she didn't turn 3 until a couple of days into the session but she is definitely ready for this level. She's doing great and listening so well to the instructors. I'm very impressed, not only with her but with the whole organization of the pool and classes at Bayside Swimming Club. They are amazing there!
Level 2 is the best! They do some sort of cheer at the end of each class. The kids have a great time, the teacher to kid ratio is nearly 1 to 1 and they have the timing down to a science. Kids are in and out right on time and get their full 30 minutes. I can't wait to sign the kids up next year again!
