Camping at Rasar

Rasar State Park is one of our favorite camping spots and we have camped there every year for a few years now. I love how the kids are finding new friends on all of our camping trips. We had a great spot with this cool stump the kids played on a lot.

We spent plenty of time at the river playing in the sand....

climbing on stuff....

getting a little dirty....

being cute...

building sand castles...

getting even dirtier...

and dirtier...

and dirtier...

running around...

smashing sand castles...

and heading back to the campsite tired and fulfilled.

A little chalk art.

Oops, that's not where it's supposed to go.

This rock has a story around it. The kids found it, colored it with chalk and took care of it like a dinosaur egg. They put it in a hole in the tree stump but it "mysteriously" moved when nobody was looking. It became the magic rock that Madison begged me to bring home. We hid it well and hope to go back and find it next year.
Another great camping weekend!
