Just four days after her 7th birthday Madison started first grade. She is the oldest kid in her class. Above is her first grade homework table. She outgrew her little desk so she now has this table. I have a "thing" with organized desks, there is just something so inviting about them and I wanted to sit at her table and do one of her workbooks. She didn't concur.
Here is my big girl on the first day of school. She is ready! I can't even begin to explain how different this year is from last year. She was confidant, eager and excited to begin school this year. She had a few nerves but not much at all. I am so proud of how far she has come.

Madison has Mrs. Bruner this year. They are the "Bruner Bears"! Her teacher seems great and Madison is making new friends and feeling much more grown up than last year.
Way to go Madison!!
