My baby turned 4! I don't know where the time went between my hip riding, gurgling baby to confident, independent big girl. However it happened it happened too fast. She bring so much fun and joy to all of our lives. She is full of zest and spunk and has a love for life I don't see in just everybody. This little girl is very special.
She is holding her gift from Madison. Madison has taken some tennis lessons and did tennis camp this summer and Kennedy wants to play to so Madison thought she needed a racket. My girls fight like any siblings but they also adore each other so much. I am so happy they will have each other to navigate through this world, they are both very lucky.
Silly birthday faces.
A new horse!
The girls chose not to have a birthday party this year. Instead they wanted to stay in a hotel so we took a trip to Oregon to meet my mom and stay for a few nights. It was a great way to celebrate their birthdays.
On her birthday the girls were in the middle of their summer camps. Kennedy was doing a gymnastics camp at Bellingham Bay Gymnastics and Madison was doing a camp at Pace Atelier Art Studio. Kennedy got done a couple of hours before Madison so it was my time to treat her to some birthday fun.
Kennedy wanted cupcakes from Katie's Cupcakes in Fairhaven for her birthday. It was a warm day and he cupcakes tipped over so we had a bit of a mess.
I took Kennedy to lunch at Billy McHale's. They put her name up on the train....
...and sang Happy Birthday to her. She did not move from this position the entire time they sang and she would not look any of them in the eye. I couldn't help but laugh, it was super cute.
I tried to repair the cupcakes a bit and I added some sprinkles.
Happy 4th Birthday sweet girl.
Make a wish! My wish would be to hold on to these fleeting years just a little bit longer, they are so special! I love you baby!
